This week I learned via Instagram (as we now learn so many things in life) that Wednesday was National Beer Lover’s Day and I decided then and there that is what this week’s theme would be because this is not a democracy, it’s a beerocracy and I am in charge. (At least on Fridays.)
To consume and imbibe
Let’s make that summer transition into fall a little smoother by going from Blackberry Stout Mini Pies with Beer Whipped Cream to Pumpkin Beer Bread. If you’re here for beer cheese soup I don’t blame you, and offer you this very fall feeling Brie + Cheddar Apple Beer Soup with Cinnamon Pecan Oat Crumble.
Get in your veggies with Beer Battered Asparagus and also Beer-battered Bean + Cheese Stuffed Poblano Chiles as long as we’re battering and frying things with beer.
For more dessert, I suggest Cherry Lambic Beer Milkshakes or Beer Crème Brûlée if you’re feeling extra fancy and own those neat little mini blow torches or Beer & Pretzel Cupcakes from Bakers Royale if you’re feeling fancy but don’t have mini blow torches or ran out of mini butane or whatever.

Cheers darlings. The season of Oktoberfest and pumpkin spice everything is upon us. Halloween creeps near.
I recommend you embrace it. It is very fun to enjoy things in life, after all.
Until next time.
